At the center of the novel, Dmitry is a truck driver who, having decided to have a snack at a roadside cafe, finds himself forcibly sent to another world. The hero finds himself in an alternative version of the Soviet Union, where the End of the World occurred. The earth is inhabited by all sorts of creatures that attack people. The climate here has changed towards warming, and magic is also present. In the notebook that Dmitry finds among his things, there is a letter to a certain Korostin. The hero goes out to people, a kind of partisans who live far from the mainland and carry out raids to clear the territory of creatures. They are helped by the army and scientists, with whom the residents exchange extracted artifacts for food and weapons. While waiting for Korostin, Dmitry lives according to the rules of the colony, participates in clean-up raids, in which he is very successful. Here the hero meets a young girl, Marina, who becomes his common-law wife. Dmitry funnyly describes to his wife the modern world with girls pumping up their breasts and lips, posting photos online. Finally, Korostin appears. He is the first one to come here from Dmitry's world, and he knows how to put the return installation back into action. To do this, the heroes have to travel halfway across the country, collect the necessary artifacts, and defeat countless enemies. The last thing on the way is the victory over the queen; without her magic, the existence of the locals will become easier. We got to the place, fixed the installation and launched it. The creatures are ready to attack at any moment. The heroes pass through a portal to another world. Is it just their world?
